How to become a Dog/Cat Whisperer

Whisperer Dog, Cat, Horse… How to Become a Whisperer Yourself to Help with Behavior Problems With Your Animal Friends
As an expert animal communicator (dog whisperer) and animal behaviorist, I am asked constantly to help with aggressive animals (dogs and cats especially). Many times aggressive behavior is a result of poor communication between you and your animal friend. Or, it may be a result of improper training, health issues, or reacting to stress in the home.
Letting the aggressive behavior continue could literally mean the death of your animal. If your animal’s aggression leads to biting, then that may mean your animal may be put down. Certainly no one wants to see that happen, especially if something can be done about it easily enough!
If you are stressed out, scared or ill, your animal may be reacting to that. Animals understand emotions and images predominately, so they pick up on what is going on in the home. You may need to deal with your personal issues before you begin working with your animal friend to eliminate aggression.
As an animal behaviorist, I understand that dogs and other animals need to know who the leader of the pack is. If they feel that is not you, then they will assume the role themselves. Dogs and other animals are pack animals. Having a pack leader represents security to them. They won’t be happy unless they understand who the leader actually is.
You may inadvertently be giving your animal friend the wrong communication signals letting him know that it is ok for him to assume the role of leader. For instance, your dog may jump on you as soon as you walk in the door. You might think your dog was just happy to see you, but that is actually a violation of your space, and you need to give your dog permission to greet you in this manner. You have to remove yourself from the situation for a moment and look at the actual message you are giving your dog. You are saying to him it is ok to take the lead!
And, you may also see this bid for the leadership role in other ways. Your animal friend may sit on you without being asked, paw at you, bump you or step on you.
When you train to become an animal communicator yourself you open your eyes and mind to the actual messages you are REALLY giving your animal friends unknowingly. It is most often a case of not knowing what YOU are doing to contribute to the aggressive behavior.
How to become a dog whisperer (horse whisperer, pet psychic, animal communicator)
First, understand that your animal friend is a gifted and intelligent being with his own purpose for being here, and for being with YOU specifically. Your animal friend is trying to fulfill his purpose for being here just as you are.
Also know that your animal friend is doing what makes the most sense to him from his perspective.
Your animal friend is communicating with you every day in so many ways. He may bark, bring you toys, put his head on you, sit on you, or in the case of a cat, may curl next to you. When they can’t use the communication tool of imagery with you, which come naturally to them, they have to resort to other methods of communication.
Animals communicate through feelings and imagery. You must quiet your mind enough for you to focus on your animal friend, and allow images to enter into your own mind from your animals. Learning to meditate effectively is the most valuable thing you can do to help with this. The Introduction to Animal Communication Home Study Course below has a wonderful meditation exercise to get you started.
Communicating with your animals opens up a whole new world for you where you can now get to the root cause of your animal’s behavior problems. You can now begin to get a better idea if the issue stems from improper training, illness or a reflection of something that is going on in your home.
